The bracelet and earrings are constructed from thousands of individually formed gold elements, meticulously interlinked by hand to create a dense, flexible mesh. Unlike cast or stamped work, this technique produces a textile-like surface that moves fluidly on the body. Holl’s mesh is not flat: the gold is woven to achieve substantial thickness and sculptural volume.
